Default 4 Facts about cleaning that you need to know, and most maid services don't do!

Fact 1 Hygiene: Most cleaners don't think about hygiene, most think that if a surface looks clean then it is clean, but there is the level below this, the level of hygiene, Bugs, germs etc that you can’t see, knowing this you would think that their employer would make sure that they educated or designed a system with no cross contamination,

What’s the answer? Colour coding. Having equipment and cloths that are clean tidy and coded for colour this prevents any cross contamination. Simple but most don't do it.

Fact 2 Staff Cover: Most Cleaning companies will take on as much work as they can, and then let their staff work as much as they want. So what happens when somebody’s ill? Most times the company will not have any spare staff on hand to cover sickness. They share out the work to the already over worked Staff.

Two points. First if the company has not trained their staff to clean the same way, you are going to get the clean to what you normally get. Second your job will probably be left to last, which means that when they arrive at your home they would have already have done a days work. Not what you would want?

Fact 3 team work: Before my wife and myself started out our maid service. I was a contracts manager for a national cleaning contractor. One of the major problems that you face is supervising all your staff on a site. Take a school for example, you might have 25 cleaners working every day on a shift, that is only 2 hours long. Getting around to all the staff checking their standards can be a problem. The most likely reason that standards drop, is that most people find it hard to keep motivated by themselves.

It is now common practice that cleaning companies will get staff to work in teams, but cover a much larger area. This helps as supervisors can work in the team and team members have others to keep them motivated.

So when you are looking for a maid service, look for one that uses teams of two or three, you will benefit from these motivated team members.

Fact 4 Time & Motion: The fact that almost no one in our culture is actually taught how to clean. We seem to assume that if you drop someone in the middle of a dirty house, she (or he) would instinctively know how to go about getting it clean, sort of a cleaning gene at work.

However, for those of us who arrived without the magic gene, we have found a system that provides step by step instructions on housecleaning. It’s proven methods, gives even the most profoundly cleaning impaired, the wherewithal to clean in the smartest way possible

Our staff & clients love this system, because it’
